Job Requirements

  • At least one year experience in multifamily or residential property management
  • experience in customer service or customer-facing positions
  • knowledge of fair housing rules and regulations
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook and Excel
  • ability to pass a background check prior to employment
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks
  • detail-oriented and deadline driven
  • ability to work independently
  • problem-solving skills
  • good writing and reading comprehension abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of experience in multifamily or residential property management
  • knowledge of fair housing rules and regulations

  • ability to pass a background check prior to employment

Job Duties

  • Assist the property manager in addressing the needs of the property and its residents
  • address resident complaints and maintenance requests
  • schedule appointments for repairs and meetings with residents
  • prepare correspondence and notices
  • prepare paperwork with respect to resident accounts
  • follow up with residents to ensure work orders are completed correctly and promptly
  • assist with rent increases, late payments, collections, evictions, and move-in/move-out processes
  • maintain files for residents, lease applications, deposits, and assist in leasing as needed
  • perform other tasks or assignments as required by management
  • manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and deadlines
  • work independently and proactively evaluate work opportunities
  • apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions
  • solve practical problems
  • communicate effectively both written and verbal
  • read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • write simple correspondence and reports
