Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year property management experience and/or customer service in a related field
  • Lease-up experience preferred
  • Experience with 200+ unit properties desirable
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Yardi, Rent Cafe and On-Site credit software
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation skills
  • Solid business logic and ability to analyze and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to follow instructions, work with minimal supervision and be a team player
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible schedules with potential overtime

Job Duties

  • Utilize product knowledge to successfully market and present community and apartment features and benefits according to prospects needs
  • Input apartment availability, resident activity and other information into property management software to ensure timely dissemination of information to team
  • Identify needs for each customer through building strong rapport and demonstrate apartment homes to meet their needs
  • Listen and communicate clearly with customers and respond to all resident concerns, complaints and inquiries in a timely manner
  • Organize all lease paperwork as outlined by policy and work with customers to ensure a seamless move-in experience
  • Plan, organize, promote, attend and execute community events for residents
  • Manage online reviews, social media accounts, and post to Craigslist daily to meet guidelines and promote community reputation
