Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1+ years of property management experience or customer service in related field
  • Lease-up experience preferred
  • Experience in 200+ unit properties desirable
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Yardi, Rent Cafe and On-Site credit software
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation skills
  • Solid business logic and ability to analyze and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to follow instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Team player with positive and professional attitude
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible schedule including possible over 40 hours per week
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, or move up to 10 pounds
  • Intermediate knowledge of Canva, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Knowledge of competitive market and property amenities
  • Understanding of landlord/tenant laws and legal responsibilities
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality required

  • Minimum 1 year experience in residential event planning preferred
  • Bachelor or Associates Degree preferred

Job Duties

  • Utilize product knowledge to market and present community and apartment features and benefits according to prospects needs
  • Input apartment availability, resident activity and other information into property management software
  • Identify customer needs by building strong rapport and demonstrating apartment homes
  • Sell programs and services offered at the community
  • Respond to resident concerns, complaints, and inquiries in a timely manner and update supervisor
  • Organize lease paperwork and ensure seamless move-in experience
  • Plan, organize, promote, attend, and execute community events for residents
  • Negotiate with vendors for resident events and manage event budgets
  • Prepare packets and documents for move-ins, turns, and renewals
  • Exercise confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Manage online reviews and social media accounts
  • Actively market the property and implement outreach marketing plans
  • Create and distribute community fitness and activity calendars
  • Monitor and engage resident posts on community platforms
  • Receive packages and notify residents of delivery
  • Perform warm calls related to move-in, renewal, and service requests
  • Assist with renewal processes
  • Perform any other tasks assigned or directed
