Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Capacity to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Must have all licenses or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
  • Ability to operate a golf cart on property

Job Qualifications

  • Previous sales and customer service experience desired
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Strong professionalism in manner and dress
  • Ability to handle legal documents and explain apartment features
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve community revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting community and apartment tours including virtual and in-person, processing applications, credit and background screening, preparing lease and move-in packages, ensuring smooth move-in and lease signing
  • Inspect apartments prior to move-in to ensure readiness and schedule maintenance as needed
  • Stay informed on market and competitor conditions, develop and implement marketing plans and goals to sustain occupancy
  • Design and execute marketing activities such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing tools including Craigslist and social media platforms
  • Use property management software to track apartment availability, record leasing activities, and manage resident and prospect data
  • Ensure community and show units meet company standards through daily inspections, upkeep requests to maintenance, merchandising show units, and preparing leasing office
  • Follow-up with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction and finalize lease or renewal decisions
  • Assist in lease renewal processes including preparing and delivering renewal letters and ensuring timely signing
  • Respond promptly and courteously to resident and client concerns and convey requests appropriately
