Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year customer service and or sales experience
  • excellent customer service skills
  • understanding of Fair Housing
  • preferred property management leasing experience
  • minimum high school diploma or some college
  • preferred bachelor’s degree in business or related field

Job Duties

  • Answer calls and persuade potential residents to visit the property or the property website
  • greet potential residents, parents and visitors in a professional manner
  • pursue leads by completing daily follow ups in leasing database
  • place delinquency phone calls
  • complete guest cards and send thank-you notes
  • attend and participate in resident events and event clean up
  • create working relationships with universities, local institutions, employers, local businesses, cultural centers to help drive prospects to property
  • execute and promote resident events
  • set up on campus and hand out promotional items
  • community marketing including meeting with local businesses and distributing flyers
  • tour competitors regularly to gather information on leasing strategies
  • greet existing and potential residents
  • address and resolve questions or concerns in a timely manner
  • log packages
  • generate mailings
  • collect checks and monies owed
  • file leases
