Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in property leasing or sales preferred
  • Familiarity with property management software
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting property tours and showing apartment homes, following up with prospects, processing applications, credit screening, and criminal background checks, preparing lease and move-in packages, ensuring smooth resident move-in and lease signing
  • Collect all pertinent information from prospective residents at move-in and record appropriately
  • Update market surveys continually to stay informed about market and competitor conditions, develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy, follow established policies related to concessions and specials
  • Design and execute marketing activities and events to create traffic to the property, including resident referral and employer outreach programs, use internet marketing tools, and follow property-specific marketing plans and special programs
  • Use on-site property management software to track apartment availability, record leasing activities, manage resident and prospect data, and capture demographic and other critical information
  • Ensure property and show units meet company standards by inspecting marketing corridors and tours daily, communicating maintenance needs, merchandising show units and amenities, and preparing leasing offices
  • Execute lease renewal programs by preparing renewal letters and packages, meeting and contacting renewing residents, and ensuring timely signing and implementation
  • Respond promptly and courteously to resident and client concerns, solve problems, and document/relay requests to appropriate personnel
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service by respecting residents, answering questions, responding to maintenance complaints, and engaging residents personally
  • Attend community and networking events, align with local associations and organizations, participate in outreach marketing to generate leads
  • Utilize CRM for accurate prospect database management, assist with daily meaningful prospect follow-up through multiple channels, coordinate creative follow-up deliveries
  • Organize and maintain sales collateral, marketing and outreach packets, maintain files and marketing materials for realtors, transition companies, and moving companies
  • Maintain copies of all floor plans in both hard and electronic versions.
