Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- At least 6 months of service industry experience
- Ability to perform regular office work and occasional outside duties in all weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and develop relationships quickly
- Leasing, sales, and closing skills
- Competence in using office equipment such as telephones, internet, fax, and photocopier
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong work ethics and adaptability
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
Job Duties
- Greet, qualify, and provide tours of community to prospective residents
- Present features and amenities effectively
- Lease apartments including closing the sale and securing lease agreements
- Process applications including rental history, credit, and background checks
- Follow up with prospects regarding application status
- Input information accurately into computer systems
- Ensure apartments are ready for move-in on agreed dates
- Assist management with collection of delinquent rents
- Plan and assist in resident functions
- Gather market competition information
- Follow company policies and Fair Housing laws
- Comply with safety procedures and report hazards
- Perform special projects as assigned
