Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • currently enrolled in college with minimum 6 credit hours
  • completed at least one year of college
  • minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
  • current or future leaseholder of the community
  • living on designated community floor
  • able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • valid driver’s license
  • available for approximately 20 hours per week
  • available evenings and weekends
  • embody Cardinal Culture and Core Values

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • must be enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university with a minimum of 6 credit hours
  • must have completed a minimum of one year at the enrolled college or university
  • must maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average
  • current or future leaseholder of the community
  • must live on designated community floor as assigned
  • able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • must have a valid driver’s license
  • available to work approximately 20 hours per week
  • available evenings and weekends
  • ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Core Values every day
  • preferred experience includes assistant, administrative assistant, receptionist, leasing consultant, real estate assistant, and leasing

Job Duties

  • Be an ambassador for customer service by consistently going above and beyond to ensure that Cardinal customers are satisfied
  • perform administrative front desk tasks and duties
  • participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training as required
  • warmly greet prospective clients and answer incoming leasing calls
  • determine needs and preferences of prospects
  • professionally present the community and apartment homes
  • utilize feature/benefit selling techniques
  • close the sale and follow up with prospective residents
  • complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork
  • pass third party leasing shops and become Cardinal Way of Leasing certified
  • maintain accurate lease file documentation
  • participate in lease file audits as assigned by the Community Manager
  • maintain cleanliness of the tour path
  • demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, prospective residents, and vendors
  • participate in and assist with planning community events
  • assist with additional community projects as assigned
  • participate in Cardinal U training
  • fulfill on-call responsibilities including lock-outs and nightly rounds
  • work evenings and weekends as scheduled
