Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with various computer systems including Microsoft Office
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Superb attention to detail
  • SHCM certification
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to be a self-motivated problem solver
  • Willingness to learn and be trained

  • Experience in hospitality, customer service, sales, retail, or restaurant industry preferred
  • Experience with Yardi or RealPage property management software preferred
  • NALP certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Interact with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy
  • Generate and manage traffic, lotteries, wait list, property tours, leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, and following up on prospect leads
  • Prepare lease documentation applicable to program types, complete move-in paperwork and procedures, maintain applicable databases, and ensure tour route, amenity areas, and show units meet company standards
  • Deliver customer service that exceeds expectations for new and current residents
  • Educate and implement WinnCompanies programs, processes, and policies to new and current residents as applicable
  • Review, prioritize, and distribute resident service requests as required
  • Assist with planning and facilitation of property events or programs required by mixed income program guidelines
  • Maintain marketing documents, supplies, reports, advertisements, and web content per property, regional or corporate initiatives
  • Maintain relationships with area businesses, local housing offices, employers, and real estate brokers to generate new business or maintain waiting lists
  • Stay current with local events and hiring trends impacting the property
  • Maintain knowledge of current and sub markets including competitors and customer demographics
  • Collect appropriate documents during application or recertification for residency approval submission
  • Stay updated with federal, state, and other regulatory requirements and programs
