Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree required
- 5-10 years of related experience in education, human services, developmental disabilities, nursing, rehabilitation, training, or a closely related field
- proven experience coordinating continuing education programs for a large and diverse staff
- travel to area offices may be required
- standard driver's license - class c or d
- ability to attain or maintain required certifications for training delivery

- proficiency with learning management systems (lms) and e-learning development
- ability to identify and assess training requirements
- effectively conduct in-person and virtual training sessions
- strong initiative, collaboration, flexibility, detail-orientation, and time management skills
- proficiency in microsoft office: word, excel, powerpoint
- standard driver's license - class c or d
- instructional certifications such as cpr/first aid trainer, safety care instructor, and others as required
- ability to attain or maintain required certifications for training delivery
Job Duties
- assist the learning and development manager in designing, implementing, and evaluating staff training programs and continuing education initiatives
- conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and develop targeted learning solutions
- partner with subject matter experts to create content, pilot programs, and gather feedback to ensure effective training delivery
- acquire, develop, and coordinate learning materials that meet agency standards and regulatory requirements
- organize and conduct orientation programs for new employees in collaboration with human resources
- ensure new staff receive the information, skills, and resources needed to succeed
- plan and coordinate conferences, seminars, workshops, and demonstrations to advance the mission of the foundation and its affiliates
- liaise with affiliate partners to understand training needs and provide appropriate learning solutions
- maintain and update the learning management system (lms) and employee training records
- attain or maintain required certifications to teach mandated courses
- ensure all training materials and programs adhere to accrediting and regulatory standards
- perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support staff development and organizational goals
