Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree required
  • 5-10 years of related experience in education, human services, developmental disabilities, nursing, rehabilitation, training, or a closely related field
  • proven experience coordinating continuing education programs for a large and diverse staff
  • travel to area offices may be required
  • standard driver's license - class c or d
  • ability to attain or maintain required certifications for training delivery

Job Qualifications

  • proven experience coordinating continuing education programs for a large and diverse staff
  • proficiency with learning management systems (lms) and e-learning development
  • ability to identify and assess training requirements
  • effectively conduct in-person and virtual training sessions
  • strong initiative, collaboration, flexibility, detail-orientation, and time management skills
  • proficiency in microsoft office: word, excel, powerpoint
  • standard driver's license - class c or d
  • instructional certifications such as cpr/first aid trainer, safety care instructor, and others as required
  • ability to attain or maintain required certifications for training delivery

Job Duties

  • assist the learning and development manager in designing, implementing, and evaluating staff training programs and continuing education initiatives
  • conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and develop targeted learning solutions
  • partner with subject matter experts to create content, pilot programs, and gather feedback to ensure effective training delivery
  • acquire, develop, and coordinate learning materials that meet agency standards and regulatory requirements
  • organize and conduct orientation programs for new employees in collaboration with human resources
  • ensure new staff receive the information, skills, and resources needed to succeed
  • plan and coordinate conferences, seminars, workshops, and demonstrations to advance the mission of the foundation and its affiliates
  • liaise with affiliate partners to understand training needs and provide appropriate learning solutions
  • maintain and update the learning management system (lms) and employee training records
  • attain or maintain required certifications to teach mandated courses
  • ensure all training materials and programs adhere to accrediting and regulatory standards
  • perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support staff development and organizational goals
