Job Requirements

  • previous FORBES training experience preferred
  • bachelor’s degree in human resources business management or equivalent education and/or experience preferred
  • minimum three years’ experience in training and development within the hospitality industry preferably in a luxury hospitality setting
  • ability to work collaboratively with department heads and managers
  • excellent organizational skills
  • strong professionalism and integrity
  • ability to maintain confidentiality

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor’s degree in human resources business management or equivalent education and/or experience preferred
  • minimum three years’ experience in training and development within the hospitality industry preferably in a luxury hospitality setting
  • knowledge of FORBES training standards preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to develop engaging training materials
  • experience in coaching and mentoring staff
  • understanding of state and federal training compliance requirements

Job Duties

  • create develop implement and assess training programs
  • deliver all hotel training programs including new hire orientation train the trainer customer service standards and LVX brand standards
  • create and develop materials for training as needed
  • implement and present resort-wide training and development initiatives
  • create and maintain updated training records and produce reports
  • coach staff on skills and career development
  • conduct yearly learning and development needs assessments and recommend programs
