Job Requirements

  • must meet requirements of local child care regulatory agency and primrose school of midland at westridge
  • degree in early childhood education, primary education, or related field preferred
  • at least two years' work experience in licensed child care facility, kindergarten, or early childhood program preferred
  • experience in management, business, or public relations preferred
  • must be able to lift up to 35 lbs in connection with handling children

Job Duties

  • provide superior customer service to all external and internal customers
  • observe all rules and regulations pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children
  • manage operation of the school in the director's absence
  • assist the director with management responsibilities to ensure maximum enrollment and effective cost control
  • adhere to employment laws and compliance issues
  • assist in keeping the school physically well kept, attractive, and safe
  • provide verbal recognition and set clear consistent expectations for children's behavior
