Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must pass motor vehicle record (MVR) check
  • Must pass drug screening
  • Must complete Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Towne Park
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Must have six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to drive manual transmission
  • Must be able to speak, read and write Standard English
  • Must be able to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
  • Must be able to write simple correspondence
  • Must be able to present information effectively in small groups
  • Must be able to apply reasoning to carry out instructions
  • Must be proficient in basic math operations
  • Must understand 24-hour and military time
  • Must understand applicable rates for time
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Must be available for scheduled shift of 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Six months related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to drive manual transmission
  • Must be able to speak, read and write Standard English
  • Must be able to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence
  • Must be able to write simple correspondence
  • Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Must be able to apply reasoning and understanding to instructions
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with American money
  • Must know 24-hour and military time systems
  • Must understand rates applicable to time passed

Job Duties

  • Maintains a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, client staff members and coworkers
  • Acknowledges and greets guests within 30 seconds of arrival to create favorable first and last impressions
  • Opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Checks in arriving guests and explains vehicle parking and retrieval procedures
  • Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Uses proper phone etiquette
  • Posts up in appropriate areas when not assisting guests or completing other tasks
  • Conducts an effective room presentation when providing bell services for guests
  • Assists with the delivery and pick up of items to guest rooms
  • Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Promotes a teamwork philosophy through leading by example and effective communication skills
  • Leads the work group in delivering high levels of guest service
  • Appoints fellow associates to certain routine roles
  • Issues claim checks to guests after receiving vehicle keys and collects vehicle claim checks before issuing keys
  • Completes ticket information including key tag, guest folio, and vehicle location, damage surveys and claim check receipt for all vehicles
  • Ensures staff do not provide lift services but assist only by offering a hand
  • Checks wheelchairs for safe operation and cleans wheelchairs after use
  • Protects guest confidentiality and maintains security of customer information
  • Assists Account Manager in building work schedules and notifies associates of schedule changes
  • Identifies and collects revenue for all vehicles
  • Completes accurate cash drop slips and shift reports
  • Reconciles revenue and tickets at end of shift
