Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- at least 18 years of age
- successful completion of criminal background check, MVR and drug screen
- wheelchair safety training completion
- minimum six months related experience
- valid driver's license and clean driving record
- ability to drive manual transmission
- proficiency in English language communication
- basic math skills
- physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and stand or walk for extended periods
- willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- availability to work Monday through Friday
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must pass criminal background, motor vehicle record and drug screening
- completion of wheelchair safety training provided by Towne Park
- six months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- valid driver's license with clean driving record
- ability to drive manual transmission
- proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing Standard English
- ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations
- reasoning and understanding to follow oral, written, and diagram instructions
- basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with money units
- understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
- ability to understand time-based rates
Job Duties
- maintains a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, client staff members and coworkers
- acknowledges and greets guests within 30 seconds of arrival
- effectively participates in and delivers aggressive hospitality
- opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- checks in arriving guests and explains parking and retrieval procedures
- parks and retrieves vehicles while driving cautiously
- handles guest complaints and difficult situations with composure
- uses proper phone etiquette
- conducts room presentations and provides bell services
- assists with deliveries and guest inquiries
- maintains detailed knowledge of the facility and local amenities
- promotes teamwork through leading by example and communication
- assigns roles and duties to coworkers as directed
- reduces staff if necessary according to approved method
- issues and collects vehicle claim checks
- completes ticket information including key tags and damage surveys
- secures all vehicle keys
- ensures no lift services are provided, only hand assistance
- checks and cleans wheelchairs
- protects guest confidentiality according to HIPAA
- maintains security of financial and identifying information
- assists with work schedule preparation and notifications
- collects and reconciles vehicle revenue
- completes cash drops and shift reports accurately
