Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to pass criminal background check, MVR, and drug screen
  • Completion of Wheelchair Safety Training
  • Six months related experience or equivalent training
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to drive manual transmission
  • Proficiency in English communication
  • Ability to comprehend and write simple instructions and correspondence
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to understand timekeeping systems
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to work outdoor shifts under varying environmental conditions
  • Ability to travel up to 5 percent
  • Commitment to maintaining guest confidentiality and security of information

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Able to pass a criminal background, motor vehicle record (MVR) check, and drug screen
  • Completion of Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Towne Park
  • Six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to drive manual transmission
  • Proficient in speaking, reading and writing Standard English
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to apply reasoning and understanding to follow instructions given in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division involving American money units
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
  • Clear understanding of rate application based on elapsed time

Job Duties

  • Maintains a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, client staff members and coworkers
  • Acknowledges and greets guests within 30 seconds of arrival to create favorable first and last impressions
  • Opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Checks in arriving guests and explains vehicle parking and retrieval procedures
  • Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Maintains accuracy and composure while under pressure to effectively handle guest complaints and difficult situations
  • Uses proper phone etiquette
  • Performs effective room presentations when providing bell services
  • Assists with the delivery and pick up of items to guest rooms
  • Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Maintains detailed knowledge of the client’s facility, including outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, local attractions, parking rates, and other pertinent information
  • Promotes teamwork philosophy through leading by example and effective communication
  • Leads work group in delivering high levels of guest service
  • Assigns coworkers to routine and special roles as directed
  • Manages staff adjustments during shifts if business conditions dictate using approved methods
  • Issues claim checks to guests after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Completes ticket information accurately
  • Secures all keys properly
  • Ensures staff provide hand assistance only, not lift services
  • Checks, cleans and maintains wheelchairs for safe operation
  • Protects guest confidentiality according to HIPAA requirements
  • Maintains security of customer financial and identifying information
  • Assists Account Manager in building work schedules and communicating changes
  • Collects revenue for all vehicles
  • Completes cash drop slips, envelopes, shift reports and other paperwork with accuracy
  • Reconciles revenue and tickets at shift end
