Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
  • Completion of Wheelchair Safety Training course
  • Six months related experience or training or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to drive manual transmission
  • Ability to speak, read and write English
  • Ability to read and understand instructions
  • Ability to write correspondence
  • Skills to present information effectively
  • Reasoning skills to follow instructions
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Knowledge of 24 hour and military time
  • Ability to understand applicable rates

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Completion of Wheelchair Safety Training course
  • Six months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to drive manual transmission
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing Standard English
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Effective presentation skills for one-on-one and small group interactions
  • Reasoning and understanding to follow instructions
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed

Job Duties

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, client staff members and coworkers
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within 30 seconds of arrival
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Check in guests and explain parking and retrieval procedures
  • Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously
  • Handle guest complaints effectively under pressure
  • Use proper phone etiquette
  • Conduct effective room presentations and bell services
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, and reservations
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the facility and local area
  • Lead the work group in delivering high levels of guest service
  • Assign roles to coworkers as directed
  • Reduce staff during shifts as needed
  • Issue and collect vehicle claim checks accurately
  • Secure all keys safely
  • Ensure safe operation and cleanliness of wheelchairs
  • Protect guest confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA
  • Assist the Account Manager with schedules and communications
  • Collect revenue and complete cash handling tasks
  • Complete shift reports and reconcile tickets and revenue
  • Report non-urgent issues to manager and seek instruction
