Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of six months related experience or training
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to drive manual transmission
  • Pass criminal background check, MVR and drug screen
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Willingness to complete required training such as Wheelchair Safety
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Availability to work AM/PM shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background, MVR and drug screen
  • Must complete the Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Towne Park
  • Six months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to drive manual transmission
  • Must be able to speak, read and write Standard English
  • Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
  • Must be able to write simple correspondence
  • Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Must be able to apply reasoning and understanding to carry out instructions
  • Must possess basic mathematical skills with money handling and time comprehension

Job Duties

  • Maintains a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, client staff members and coworkers
  • Acknowledges and greets guests within 30 seconds of arrival
  • Opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Checks in arriving guests and explains vehicle parking and retrieval procedures
  • Parks and retrieves vehicles safely and cautiously
  • Uses proper phone etiquette
  • Posts up in appropriate areas when not assisting guests
  • Conducts room presentations when providing bell services
  • Assists with delivery and pickup of guest items
  • Provides guests with directions, taxi services, and reservation assistance
  • Maintains detailed knowledge of the client's facility and local area
  • Promotes teamwork by leading through example and effective communication
  • Assigns coworkers to routine and special roles as directed
  • Can reduce staff during a shift as approved
  • Issues and collects vehicle claim checks accurately
  • Completes ticketing and damage surveys for vehicles
  • Secures all keys properly
  • Ensures guests only receive hand assistance, not lifts
  • Checks and cleans wheelchairs regularly
  • Protects guest confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines
  • Maintains security of financial and identifying information
  • Assists with building work schedules and staff notifications
  • Identifies and collects revenue
  • Completes cash drop slips and shift reports with accuracy
  • Reconciles revenue and tickets at shift end
