Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- must be at least 18 years of age
- able to pass a criminal background check
- able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
- able to pass a drug screen
- completion of the Wheelchair Safety Training course
- six months of related experience or equivalent education and experience
- valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- ability to drive manual transmission
- proficient in English speaking, reading and writing
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- strong interpersonal communication skills
- able to apply reasoning to carry out written, oral or diagram instructions
- basic mathematical skills
- able to understand 24-hour time systems
- able to understand applicable rates for time passed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- must be at least 18 years of age
- able to pass criminal background, MVR and drug screen
- completion of the Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Towne Park
- six months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- ability to drive manual transmission
- proficiency in speaking, reading and writing Standard English
- able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos
- able to write simple correspondence
- effective interpersonal communication skills
- capable of applying reasoning to carry out instructions
- mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with American currency units
- understanding of 24-hour and military time formats
- comprehension of rate structures applicable to time passed
Job Duties
- Maintains a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, client staff members and coworkers
- acknowledges and greets guests within 30 seconds of arrival
- effectively participates in aggressive hospitality
- addresses guests using appropriate greetings
- opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- checks in arriving guests and explains vehicle parking and retrieval procedures
- parks and retrieves vehicles cautiously
- handles guest complaints and difficult situations with composure
- uses proper phone etiquette
- conducts effective room presentations during bell services
- assists with delivery and pickup of guest room items
- provides guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- maintains detailed knowledge of the client facility and local area
- promotes teamwork through leading by example and effective communication
- assigns coworkers to roles as directed by Account Manager
- reduces staff during shifts based on business conditions
- issues claim checks to guests after receiving vehicle keys
- completes ticket and damage surveys accurately
- secures keys properly
- ensures staff only provide hand assistance (no lift services) to guests
- checks and cleans wheelchairs
- protects guest confidentiality and secures financial and identifying information
- assists Account Manager with work schedules and communications
- identifies and collects revenue for vehicles
- completes cash drop slips and shift reports accurately
- reconciles revenue and tickets at shift end
