Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass background check
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to drive manual transmission
  • Must complete Wheelchair Safety Training
  • Six months related experience or training
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations
  • Ability to work under specific instructions and guidelines
  • Physical ability to perform active and lifting tasks required by the job

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass criminal background check, MVR, and drug screen
  • Completion of Wheelchair Safety Training
  • Six months related experience or equivalent education and training
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to drive manual transmission
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing standard English
  • Competency in basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division involving American currency
  • Ability to understand and apply 24-hour and military time
  • Ability to understand applicable rate structures
  • Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group settings
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Reasoning skills to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions

Job Duties

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, client staff and coworkers
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within 30 seconds of arrival
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Check in arriving guests and explain parking and retrieval procedures
  • Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously
  • Address guest complaints and difficult situations calmly and effectively
  • Use proper phone etiquette
  • Conduct room presentations for bell services
  • Assist with deliveries and pickups for guest rooms
  • Provide directions, taxi and reservation assistance
  • Maintain knowledge of client facility including amenities and local attractions
  • Lead team through effective communication and by example
  • Assign tasks to associates
  • Reduce staff during shifts as directed
  • Issue and collect vehicle claim checks
  • Complete ticket and key tag documentation accurately
  • Secure vehicle keys appropriately
  • Ensure staff provide assistance without physical lifting
  • Check wheelchairs for safety and cleanliness
  • Protect guest confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA
  • Maintain security of customer financial and identifying information
  • Assist Account Manager with scheduling and notifications
  • Identify and collect revenue for vehicles
  • Complete accurate cash drop slips and envelopes
  • Prepare shift reports and reconcile revenue and tickets at shift end
