This position is within a hospitality environment, focused on providing excellent parking and vehicle handling services to guests and patrons. Job Requirements
- Must obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission
- Must successfully pass background check
- Must successfully pass drug screening
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts
- Good driver’s record within the last 48 months and cannot have more than 3 points on record
- Must provide a current driving record
- Must be tolerant of moderate to severe weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Skills and abilities necessary for effective performance typically acquired through two months of on-the-job training or related experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests
- Ability to remain calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere
- Ability to present a professional appearance with enthusiasm and outgoing personality
- Ability to drive and handle cars of all makes and models including automatic and manual transmissions
- Ability to address stressful situations with guests with dignity and tact
- Ability to walk or run 90% of the shift and stand 10% of the shift
- Ability to tolerate running, stooping, and bending for long periods of time
Job Duties
- Display positive and professional attitude and presentation at all times when communicating with guest
- Must be flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays with the understanding days off will fluctuate
- Responsible for the staging of guest vehicle
- Responsible for parking guest vehicle in the parking garage
- Responsible for retrieval of vehicles in a timely manner
- Assists the Valet Supervisor and ensures that breaks and rotations are being followed as scheduled
- Attend seminars when needed
