Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of supervisory experience or related experience or training preferred
- Ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, stoop and kneel
- Ability to frequently handle merchandise and retail equipment
- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 55 pounds occasionally
- Able to occasionally climb ladders
- Ability to drive own vehicle to bank and attend training meetings
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise
- Willingness to be exposed occasionally to outside weather, strong scents, wet floors and cleaning solutions
Job Qualifications
- Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Understanding of safety policies and practices
- Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Ability to perform cash register functions
- Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of supervisory experience or related training preferred
Job Duties
- Provide superior customer service to exceed customer expectations
- Model product knowledge and selling techniques to enhance customer experience
- Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized store environment
- Assist in merchandising the store in an appealing manner
- Rotate product to create eye-catching displays according to merchandising guidelines
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities
- Ensure store condense and reset standards are consistently maintained
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Operate cash register and scanner to process purchases
- Assist customers with merchandise and self-checkout process
- Clean the store including dusting, mopping, and trash removal
- Open and close the store as directed
- Perform additional duties in absence of Store Team Leader or Assistant Team Leader
