Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months of supervisory experience or related experience/training preferred
- ability to walk and stand frequently
- ability to bend, stoop and kneel frequently
- ability to handle merchandise and equipment such as hand-held scanner, pricing guns, box cutters, merchandise containers, two-wheel dollies and six-wheel carts
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 55 pounds occasionally
- ability to climb ladder occasionally
- ability to drive own vehicle for bank deposits and training meetings
- ability to work in fast-paced environment with moderate noise
- ability to tolerate exposure to strong scents, fragrances, outside weather conditions, wet floor surfaces and cleaning solutions
Job Qualifications
- Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
- understanding of safety policies and practices
- ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides
- ability to perform mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and percentages
- ability to perform cash register functions
- knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies
- knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- six months of supervisory experience or related experience/training preferred
Job Duties
- Provide superior customer service to exceed the customer's expectations
- model product knowledge and selling techniques to enhance the customer experience
- maintain a safe, clean and well-organized store environment
- assist in merchandising the store to retain customer excitement
- rotate product to create eye-catching displays
- complete daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities
- operate cash register and assist customers with merchandise
- assist customers in self-checkout process
- open and close the store under direction
- perform additional duties in the absence of Store Team Leader or Assistant Team Leader
