Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • at least 1 year related work experience
  • no supervisory experience
  • ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods
  • ability to move, lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 25 pounds
  • ability to follow safety policies and procedures
  • ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • willingness to perform additional job duties as assigned

Job Duties

  • Organize cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • organize supply rack including pots, pans, serving spoons, utensils
  • rotate stock by bringing wares from storage to kitchen
  • complete cleaning checklists to determine timelines for cleaning and sanitizing
  • collect dirty pans from cooking line and transport to pot station for cleaning
  • clean and maintain sanitation areas and organize cleaning supplies
  • clean and maintain loading dock areas
  • clean ceiling, walls, and vents in dish room
  • ensure clean wares are stored appropriately
  • operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dish washing machine, pot-scrubbing station, trash compactor
  • assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees
  • follow company and safety policies and report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions
  • maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • protect company assets
  • use clear and professional language when communicating
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • support team in reaching common goals
  • ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 25 pounds
  • stand, sit or walk for extended periods
  • reach overhead and below knees including bending, twisting, pulling, stooping
  • perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
