Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent
- Two years stewarding or related experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must successfully complete New Mexico food handlers' course within 30 days of hire
- Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, crouching, and standing for long periods
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in variable conditions
- Punctual and reliable attendance
- Ability to complete training requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Required to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Required to pass criminal background screening
Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of stewarding operations and sanitation procedures
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

- Maintains highest standard of personal hygiene
- Ability to create and maintain a collaborative team environment
Job Duties
- Supervises the dish pantry department including collection and sorting of dishes, glassware and silverware
- Loads, runs, cleans, and maintains dishwashing machines ensuring departmental standards
- Supplies kitchen and wait staff with clean utensils and dishes for service
- Ensures dishwashing equipment is maintained and cleaned according to standards
- Contacts service representatives for repairs and ensures completion
- Oversees cleaning schedules of dish pantry and related kitchen areas for health inspections
- Organizes and completes quarterly inventory of china, glassware, and silverware and reports results
- Facilitates daily stand-up meetings to communicate property information
- Oversees packing and transport of items for off-premises events and inventory control
- Ensures water temperature and chemical levels are appropriate and documented
- Maintains punctual and regular attendance as per attendance policy
