Job Requirements
- At least a Level 2 sommelier certificate preferred
- at least five years of gourmet food and beverage service experience preferred
- must be 21 years of age
- must be polished, professional, friendly, dynamic, and able to multitask and take initiative in a VIP driven and guest service focused environment
- ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- dedicated and willing to go above and beyond
- maintains a sense of urgency attitude for the completion of responsibilities and tasks
- must be able to obtain work documents as required by specific positions such as health card, alcohol awareness card
- must be fluent in the English language both written and oral
- multilingual skills are a plus
- has strong interpersonal, communication skills and hospitality driven attitude

Job Duties
- Be all about the team

- maintain proper inventory levels of wines, other beverages and supplies
- order supplies through SW systems
- set up items on Stratton Warren, Purchase, Inventory and Master List
- train employees on wine and beverage service and knowledge
- supervise junior sommeliers on their performance
- enforce proper beverage service standards of all employees during service
- direct and engage in wine service during restaurant service hours
- manage POS systems with pricing and maintenance issues to ensure checks can be processed correctly
- taste and evaluate wines and other beverages for potential purchase
- maintain a level of professionalism that will make guests want to return
- work as a team member assisting all guests and employees' needs and inquiries
- effectively communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests or other employees
- perform other job-related duties as assigned
