Job Requirements
- Must have Food Handler's Certification
- must be 21+ years of age
- must be authorized to work in the United States
- remain in stationary position for up to 8 hours throughout the work shift
- be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications
- Certified accreditation from a recognized organization (Court of Master Sommelier / WSET) preferred
- minimum of 2 years of experience in high volume, elevated dining restaurant

Job Duties
- Maintain complete knowledge of wine list, and wine and food pairings
- clean equipment, tools, and supplies for wine service and ensure equipment is in good working order, including cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance
- maintain and update cellar/storage inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock
- meet regularly with the wine trade to actively seek quality wines for the restaurant wine program as well as evaluate wines and other beverages for potential purchase
- eliminate waste by training and supervising employees on wine knowledge, pour levels, proper storage, etc
- verify accuracy of wine delivery ordered and received from the main warehouse and return or exchange deliveries when a warehouse error has occurred
- maintain appropriate beverage costs by managing purchases and requisitions
- perform other job-related duties as requested
