Job Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must have and maintain a food server permit as required by the county
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Must be physically active and capable of all required movements
- Ability to assist residents with mobility and safety as needed
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must be in good physical and mental health with required health screenings
- Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience leading a hospitality team preferred
- Knowledge of care and supervision requirements for senior residents
- Ability to communicate effectively in English at a minimum eighth grade proficiency
- Positive and energetic attitude with a passion for working with seniors
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Criminal background clearance
- Good physical health verified by recent health screening
Job Duties
- Keep front of house front of mind by ensuring the dining room stays perfect and service is impeccable
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome, mingle and foster social connections
- Prepare tables, salads, and silverware to ensure smooth meal service
- Buss tables, sweep floors, and maintain a tidy dining environment
- Communicate with supervisors and wellness staff regarding residents' dietary habits and any changes in appetite
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and support after falls
- Oversee and lead the hospitality team to deliver excellent dining experiences
