Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and customer service orientation
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Must comply with health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Able to pass a drug test and pre-employment criminal background check
- Must be 21 years of age
- Neat and well-groomed in company approved uniform
- Proficient in operating POS systems and handling transactions
- Able to safely operate and drive beverage carts
- Capable of delivering plated food, clearing tables, and assisting with banquet setup
- Ability to respond calmly to upset guests and notify management
- Able to communicate effectively with hearing impaired guests
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for entire shifts
- Must pass server validation
- Basic knowledge of cooking principles
- Ability to clearly verbalize menu items to guests
- Must have good hearing in noisy environments
- Able to memorize or write orders
- Ability to balance at shift end
- Skilled at carding guests for age verification
Job Duties
- Greet guests and escort them to their seats
- Present menus and beverage lists to guests
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Answer questions about menu items and beverages
- Inform customers of daily specials
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Check guest identification for age verification
- Enter orders into POS system efficiently
- Serve food and beverages to guests
- Check with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain table appearance and cleanliness
- Prepare and present checks
- Process payments including credit cards
- Provide continuous service until guests leave
- Uphold food and service quality standards
- Provide favorable image of Juniper Preserve
- Follow alcohol awareness procedures
- Assist in dining room and event setups
- Perform side work duties
- Attend training and department meetings
- Assist in training new servers
- Support ongoing team development
- Ensure outlet readiness for service
- Provide floor leadership during service
- Assist with comps and voids processing
- Enforce standard operating procedures
- Document coaching and operational concerns
- Communicate operational and guest feedback
- Coordinate with staff to maintain service flow
- Serve as point of contact in management absence
- Obtain manager approval for shift adjustments
- Keep supervisor informed of issues
- Maintain cooperative working relationships
- Perform duties in accordance with policies
- Handle multiple tasks effectively
- Practice safe work habits
- Maintain regular attendance

- Support Food and Beverage teams as needed
