Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age with a valid work permit
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively
  • Strong desire to work with the elderly and attend to their needs
  • Ability to pass background check and health screening including physical and TB tests
  • Willingness to adhere to company health and safety protocols including vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and use of personal protective equipment
  • Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a safe workplace

Job Qualifications

  • Experience is preferred but not necessary
  • Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
  • Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
  • Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests including physical and TB Tests
  • Willingness to comply with health and safety protocols related to COVID-19 and other communicable diseases as required by Oakmont Management Group

Job Duties

  • Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner
  • Accurately and professionally take residents' and guests' food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS point of sale computer
  • Set up and break down bus tables
  • Assure compliance with all proper serving techniques and etiquette such as serving from left and clearing used dishes between courses
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests following established safety standards
  • Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
