Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Three or more years of serving experience preferred
- Ability to read, write and understand the English language
- Manual dexterity to use kitchen equipment and utensils
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull and work continuously without sitting for long periods
- Ability to lift or carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications

- Skilled in directing, managing, hiring and training kitchen staff
- Proficient in using kitchen equipment and utensils
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and work continuously during shifts
Job Duties
- Train new team members with onboarding and job orientation
- Provide oversight and culinary training to dining staff
- Uphold service standards across multiple dining venues
- Ensure timely and professional service in accordance with The Sterling Touch® standards
- Communicate effectively with residents, guests, and staff
- Assist in recipe reading and requisitions
- Maintain high levels of resident and guest satisfaction
