Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6-8 years of experience
  • Previous fine dining or high-end restaurant experience
  • Knowledge of fine dining etiquette and food service standards
  • Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Food Safety Training preferred
  • Alcohol/Beverage Certification preferred
  • Food Handler Certification preferred
  • Basic math skills
  • English language proficiency
  • Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests warmly, escorting them to tables and introducing the menu
  • Provide expert knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and wine pairings
  • Accurately take and process orders, ensuring clarity and attention to detail
  • Serve food and beverages following fine dining protocols with elegance and professionalism
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, anticipating needs and resolving concerns promptly
  • Efficiently manage a station of at least six tables or 35 guests
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and special request fulfillment
  • Support fellow team members to maintain smooth dining operations
  • Upsell wine pairings and menu enhancements to elevate the guest experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining areas before, during, and after service
  • Consistently communicate guest and resident feedback to management
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, sanitation, and appearance standards
  • Always model Presbyterian Living's Hospitality Promises and uphold Corporate Compliance practices
