Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months supervisory experience or related training preferred
- effective communication skills
- understanding of safety policies
- ability to operate cash register
- ability to perform basic math calculations
- knowledge of cash handling procedures
- ability to drive own vehicle to bank
- physical ability to perform frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 40 pounds frequently and 55 pounds occasionally
- ability to use equipment such as handheld scanners, pricing guns, box cutters, dollies, and rolltainers
- availability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to climb step ladders up to six feet
- occasional exposure to outside weather conditions
- willingness to drive and provide own transportation for bank deposits and meetings
Job Qualifications
- Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
- understanding of safety policies and practices
- ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides
- ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- ability to operate cash register
- knowledge of cash, facility, and safety control policies
- knowledge of cash handling procedures including accountability and deposit control
- ability to drive own vehicle to the bank for deposits

Job Duties
- Provide superior customer service leadership
- greet and assist customers
- operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer purchases
- collect payment and make change
- bag merchandise
- assist customers with merchandise
- follow company procedures to receive, open and unpack merchandise boxes
- stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves
- build merchandise displays
- clean the store including trash removal, dusting, mopping floors, and cleaning restrooms and stockrooms
- help set up sidewalk displays
- assist in implementing and maintaining planograms
- open and close the store under the direction of the Store Manager
- perform duties of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in their absence
