Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- current Food Handler's Permit required
- willingness to work full-time hours (37-40 hours per week)
- open availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- ability to stand and walk throughout the workday
- capacity to lift and maneuver items up to 50 pounds
- basic math and recipe reading skills
- ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- demonstrated passion for food preparation and customer service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- current Food Handler's Permit
- experience working with salad bar ingredients
- ability to read and follow recipes
- knowledge of knife skills and cutting techniques
- basic math skills applicable to recipe adjustment
- excellent organizational and planning skills
- solid verbal and listening communication skills
- ability to handle conflict professionally
- capability to accept constructive feedback

Job Duties
- Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
- ensure the quality and freshness of all products served
- maintain appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the salad bar
- confirm pricing accuracy and signage for all products including promotional items
- ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily meeting company appearance standards
- deliver excellent customer service
- prepare salad bar items such as greens, walnuts, croutons, beets, bacon
- mix salad dressings and to-go dips
- package to-go soups, salads, and sandwiches
- set up and take down salad bar and soup bar
- manage inventory and ordering for the salad bar
- receive and stock product
- teach, mentor, and educate associates
- provide honest and direct feedback to associates regarding performance
- assist with overall kitchen success as needed
