Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years medical front office experience with strong working knowledge of reception, patient registration, scheduling, insurance referral and authorization procedures
- One year previous supervisory experience preferred
- Proficiency with Windows based applications, strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, familiarity with scheduling software
- Ability to organize, prioritize and work independently with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal skills to interact effectively with staff and outside contacts
- Strong customer service skills and ability to lead by example
- Current State of Kansas Driver's License
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods
- Frequent walking, bending, stooping, reaching, stretching
- Ability to work on computer for extended periods of time
- Hearing in the normal range for telephone and in person contact
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Job Duties
- Oversee daily work activities and schedules of employees in the Reception department at all locations
- Contribute constructive feedback and insights to inform ongoing performance management and performance evaluations in collaboration with supervisor of department
- Act as float receptionist or new patient representative when needed
- Receive, respond to and document patient concerns and complaints regarding reception areas
- Communicate with Director of Clinical Operations regarding departmental activity and problems to ensure management is aware of problems affecting the department
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state healthcare regulations regarding OSHA, risk management, and KOC liability claims processing
- Promote a positive work climate, a team environment and establish and maintain a productive working relationship with all employees
