Job Duties
- Maintain satisfactory quantity and quality of work by assigned personnel
- Explain and demonstrate work procedures and methods including safety
- Apportion and schedule assigned work
- Observe and analyze methods used and results achieved
- Bring problems to management’s attention and assist with tools, equipment, and materials
- Perform work according to company rules and regulations
- Assist with escorts
- Maintain cleanliness of the ramp
- Assist with staging pallets during plane offload
- Load and unload express, baggage, freight, and company materials on and off aircraft
- Transport cargo between sort, platform, and aircraft
- Transfer containers and cargo on the ramp as required
- Receive, deliver, and handle customer and company materials
- Complete forms and messages necessary for assigned functions
- Transport containers to and from aircraft
- Assist in loading, unloading, and racking both filled and empty drums
- Perform routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities
- Assist in monitoring security of facility
