Job Requirements

  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and days off
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
  • Ability to work in high noise level environments
  • Ability to work in inclement weather

Job Duties

  • Maintain satisfactory quantity and quality of work by assigned personnel
  • Explain and demonstrate work procedures and methods including safety
  • Apportion and schedule assigned work
  • Observe and analyze methods used and results achieved
  • Bring problems to management’s attention and assist with tools, equipment, and materials
  • Perform work according to company rules and regulations
  • Assist with escorts
  • Maintain cleanliness of the ramp
  • Assist with staging pallets during plane offload
  • Load and unload express, baggage, freight, and company materials on and off aircraft
  • Transport cargo between sort, platform, and aircraft
  • Transfer containers and cargo on the ramp as required
  • Receive, deliver, and handle customer and company materials
  • Complete forms and messages necessary for assigned functions
  • Transport containers to and from aircraft
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and racking both filled and empty drums
  • Perform routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities
  • Assist in monitoring security of facility
