Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • must pass drug testing
  • must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
  • work primarily outdoors and be comfortable in all weather conditions
  • must pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a ramp agent or in aviation ground handling
  • ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently
  • valid driver’s license in good standing
  • ability to operate ground support equipment safely
  • strong understanding of health and safety regulations
  • good physical condition to manage strenuous activities
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment

Job Duties

  • Lift and move cargo and baggage weighing up to 70 lbs on and off aircraft and transport between terminals and cargo facilities
  • frequently bend, stretch, push, pull, stack, and kneel in confined spaces
  • operate small motorized ground support equipment
  • read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material labels, aircraft loading manifests, and routing tags
  • ensure safe and secure operations complying with health, safety, security standards and governmental requirements
  • perform additional related duties as assigned
