Job Requirements

  • HS diploma, GED or equivalent
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • valid driver's license
  • ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
  • willingness to meet appearance guidelines as prescribed by customers serviced by WFS
  • ability to work in variable weather conditions and environmental exposures
  • membership in the Transport Workers Union (TWU) and payment of union dues required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • experience in ramp or passenger service roles preferred
  • strong communication skills in English
  • ability to lead and train team members
  • customer service orientation
  • knowledge of safety and operational protocols in aviation
  • ability to work under variable weather and environmental conditions
  • physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds
  • ability to follow company appearance standards

Job Duties

  • Supervise and support ramp and passenger service agents to ensure quality and efficiency
  • train and guide employees on proper work procedures, safety protocols, and operational methods
  • schedule and apportion work assignments to maintain smooth operations
  • observe and analyze work methods, addressing challenges with management
  • assist in the utilization of tools, equipment, and materials to improve efficiency
  • ensure compliance with security procedures, reporting any breaches or suspicious activities
  • perform all passenger service functions, including ticketing, baggage handling, reservations, and customer assistance
  • maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service
  • adhere to company policies, including wearing the required uniform and insignia
  • report to work on a regular and timely basis
