Job Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and follow simple English instructions
- four years of experience as a houseworker
- minimum two years project work experience
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- proficiency in operation of standard housekeeping equipment including strip machines and wet vacuums
- demonstrated leadership skills
- basic computer skills preferred
- minimum age of 18 years

Job Duties
- Distributes and monitors the flow of work for assigned staff
- provides training and technical assistance to employees
- assists supervisor in ensuring resources and methods are provided
- provides recommendations to manager and supervisor for efficient personnel utilization
- relays work instructions from supervisor
- performs housekeeping duties including mopping, floor burnishing, vacuuming, and patient room cleaning
- moves furniture and equipment as needed
- performs isolation cleaning procedures
- cleans desks, furniture, high dusting, and ceiling/wall washing
- prepares rooms for meetings and arranges furniture
- empties and cleans trash receptacles and disposes of rubbish
