Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years experience in food manufacturing
- At least one year supervisory experience
- Good communication skills
- Read and write English
- Basic math skills
- Ability to make logical decisions
- Dependable and safety conscious
- Ability to work standing or walking for extended periods
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive hand motions and physical tasks such as bending and squatting
- Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures
- Willingness to use cleaning chemicals safely.
Job Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- Minimum three years of food preparation experience
- At least one year of supervisory experience
- Good communication skills
- Ability to make logical decisions
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Leadership skills to direct and mentor employees
- Ability to explain job functions to auditors
- Capability to work in a team environment
- Willingness to learn basic computer skills
- Bilingual skills a plus (English and Portuguese, Spanish, or Haitian Creole)

Job Duties
- Setup the bakery and equipment for start-up
- Follow all procedures, instructions and temperature guidelines associated with each batch
- Ensure and record all day code and ingredient weight information during production
- Verify proper ingredients and labeling before use
- Check final mix against quality standards
- Ensure FIFO or FEFO product rotation
- Complete required paperwork and documentation
- Properly label and store leftover raw materials and finished goods
- Direct bakery employees to perform line duties efficiently
- Provide guidance and training to full-time and temporary employees
- Schedule employees according to production demand
- Coordinate lunch and break relief
- Enforce company SOPs and GMPs
- Report production, warehouse, quality, and maintenance issues to supervisors or managers
- Maintain safety of equipment and report unsafe conditions
- Monitor sanitation procedures and ensure usage of proper PPE
- Train employees on sanitation and safety procedures
- Oversee cleaning and organization of work area
- Watch for and report suspicious activities
- Complete additional duties assigned by supervisor or manager
- Oversee equipment disassembling and sanitation.
