Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years associated experience within food manufacturing
  • One year minimum of supervisory experience
  • Good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent
  • Three years of food preparation experience
  • Minimum of one year supervisory experience
  • Able to communicate and make logical decisions
  • Good English reading and writing skills
  • Able to perform basic math skills
  • Leadership skills to direct and mentor employees
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills or willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills and dependable
  • Bilingual a plus (English and/or Portuguese, Spanish, Haitian Creole)

Job Duties

  • Setup the bakery and equipment for start-up
  • Follow all procedures, instructions and temperature guidelines associated with the formulation of each batch produced by the dough mixer
  • Ensure and record all pertinent day code information for each item used to produce a dough batch
  • Check that the proper ingredients are being used on the line based on the product being produced
  • Direct the bakery employees to perform line duties efficiently
  • Provide guidance and training to employees, including temporary employees
  • Ensure employees are trained and practice company SOPs
