Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 2 years experience in a professional culinary setting
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform kitchen tasks
- knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- strong attention to detail
- positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Job Qualifications
- culinary degree or equivalent experience
- prior experience in a professional kitchen especially in European cuisine
- strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- excellent cooking and plating skills
- ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- creativity and passion for culinary arts
- good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- prepare and cook a variety of European inspired dishes from the early 1900s
- develop and execute a chef-driven menu featuring steak, homemade pastas, and tableside presentations
- maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
- collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and teamwork
- assist in menu creation and recipe development
- uphold cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- contribute to a positive work environment and share in team rewards
