Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years pastry experience within a high volume kitchen/bakery
- Weekend availability and ability to varied shifts as needed
- Ability to maintain high-quality production standards
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Commitment to upholding health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years pastry experience within a high volume kitchen/bakery working with cakes, breads, and various pastries
- Previous hotel or resort experience is a plus
- Demonstrated creativity and skill in pastry and cake decoration
- Ability to supervise and train kitchen staff
- Strong adherence to health and safety standards
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Commitment to Hilton values such as hospitality, integrity, and teamwork
Job Duties
- Participates in pastry production
- Creates/prepares/produces/bakes breads, rolls, breakfast pastries and desserts according to standard recipes for restaurants and banquets
- Decorates pastries/cakes with creativity and skill
- Maintains adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures the proper storage
- Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- Trains, supervises, schedules and assists in evaluating staff
