Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Three years recent experience as a baker or pastry cook
- One year supervisory experience as bakery or pastry lead or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Card
- Must be at least 18 years old
- No felony, theft or stealing convictions
- Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening
- Must pass background investigation
- Must obtain and maintain gaming license
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils
- Knowledge of safe kitchen practices
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Ability to maintain prep sheets and logs
- Ability to perform outstanding guest service
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain professional appearance
- Ability to coordinate tasks among team
- Ability to safely use cleaning supplies
- Knowledge of food preparation and presentation

Job Duties
- Cooks and prepares a variety of foods according to the menu and business demand
- Use and learn proper knife skills, cooking and baking techniques
- Understand and follow standardized recipes for all food venues and outlets
- Communicate clearly with Pastry Chefs and subordinate team members
- Maintain and communicate food and product needs to Room Pastry Chefs
- Maintain daily tracking logs
- Delegate assigned tasks to pastry cooks
- Maintain a clean, organized and sanitized work area following health and safety regulations
- Ensure assigned venue or kitchen areas are taken care of and duties are completed
- Ensure venues are ready to open by the designated time set by management
- Keep all food storage areas clean, organized, labeled and dated
- Maintain equipment, tools, floors, workstations and food prep areas clean and free from clutter
- Work according to established casino procedures
- Communicate well with team members maintaining a positive professional environment
- Contribute to team efforts and accomplish tasks
- Perform other duties as required
