Job Requirements

  • Must submit to and pass a drug test and criminal background clearance
  • Must provide proof of COVID-19 and booster, MMR, TDAP, Hepatitis B vaccinations and TB test
  • BLS/CPR certification required
  • Mature judgment, tact, discretion and confidentiality
  • Professional and pleasant representation of the corporation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent achievement
  • At least one year of experience as a medical receptionist or in general office work
  • Bilingual Spanish-English preferred
  • Professional demeanor with mature judgment, tact, discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations

Job Duties

  • Organizes and oversees the front office staff and patient processing
  • Designates front office staff and manages staggered working schedules
  • Ensures excellent customer service and efficient patient flow
  • Manages proper patient scheduling, registration, cash flow and billing procedures
  • Ensures communication between front office triaging and back office
  • Conducts eligibility interviews to determine method of payment
  • Performs copying of Medi-Cal stickers, medical records and other correspondence
  • Receives phone calls, screens, directs, records messages and types routine correspondence and patient files
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by the Program Manager
