Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience as a barista
- responsible beverage service certification
- food handlers certification
- must be 18 years or older
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- excellent communication skills in English
- must be able to work flexible and long hours
- compliance with health and safety standards
- ability to operate a golf cart
Job Qualifications
- previous experience as a barista
- strong customer service and communication skills
- responsible beverage service and food handlers certification is required in compliance with California laws
- must be 18 to operate a golf cart
Job Duties
- adhere to the companys service culture - 4 keys to creating guests for life
- actively participate in team member referral program and be a talent ambassador for Silverado Resort
- participate in all resort required meetings and trainings
- maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper uniform/business attire and nametag
- lead the assigned shift and ensure that everything runs smoothly
- assist with ordering supplies for the department
- train new baristas on the processes in the outlet
- prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards
- properly handle and maintain all equipment
- respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
- accurately handle cash and credit card payments following appropriate cash-handling procedures
- serve customers quickly and efficiently
- demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings
- observe relevant health and safety standards
- abide by all resort policies and safety rules
- perform other duties as requested by management
