Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a barista
  • responsible beverage service certification
  • food handlers certification
  • must be 18 years or older
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • excellent communication skills in English
  • must be able to work flexible and long hours
  • compliance with health and safety standards
  • ability to operate a golf cart

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience as a barista
  • strong customer service and communication skills
  • responsible beverage service and food handlers certification is required in compliance with California laws
  • must be 18 to operate a golf cart

Job Duties

  • adhere to the companys service culture - 4 keys to creating guests for life
  • actively participate in team member referral program and be a talent ambassador for Silverado Resort
  • participate in all resort required meetings and trainings
  • maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper uniform/business attire and nametag
  • lead the assigned shift and ensure that everything runs smoothly
  • assist with ordering supplies for the department
  • train new baristas on the processes in the outlet
  • prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards
  • properly handle and maintain all equipment
  • respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
  • accurately handle cash and credit card payments following appropriate cash-handling procedures
  • serve customers quickly and efficiently
  • demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings
  • observe relevant health and safety standards
  • abide by all resort policies and safety rules
  • perform other duties as requested by management
