Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid commercial driver’s license CDL A or C
- proven experience in operations or logistics role preferably in truck or equipment yard
- strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- basic computer literacy including proficiency in Google Workspace Slack and CRM systems
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks
- willingness to work full-time 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with occasional overtime
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- additional certifications or training in logistics or operations management preferred
- valid commercial driver’s license CDL A or C
- proven experience in an operations or logistics role preferably in truck or equipment yard environment
- strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- basic computer literacy including proficiency in Google Workspace Slack and CRM systems
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks
- prior supervisory experience within logistics or operations environment preferred
- familiarity with yard management systems and operational tracking tools preferred
- knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices preferred
- experience analyzing and adapting to regional economic variables preferred
Job Duties
- manage day-to-day yard operations including check-in/check-out processes
- maintain accurate records of all equipment entering and exiting the facility
- coordinate with dispatchers and drivers to ensure efficient yard organization and flow
- conduct regular yard inspections addressing safety and maintenance issues
- act as the primary on-site contact for drivers and customers providing support and resolving issues
- gather feedback from customers and drivers to identify service improvement opportunities
- enforce safety guidelines and protocols promoting a culture of safety
- monitor access points surveillance systems and security to ensure asset protection
- conduct routine safety drills ensuring OSHA compliance
- work closely with the Regional Director to align operations with company goals
- provide weekly operational reports highlighting trends challenges and opportunities
- supervise and train on-site staff ensuring alignment with policies
- mentor team members to build operational resilience and encourage growth
