Job Duties
- Execute dishes exactly to recipe and presentation standards, monitoring taste, appearance, and temperature
- ensure all plates meet portioning standards to control food costs and reduce waste
- lead, coach, and mentor line cooks and kitchen team members to support growth and strong performance
- jump on the line during peak service periods to keep service flowing smoothly
- coordinate with the team to ensure orders are accurate, timely, and guest-ready
- organize workstations, assign responsibilities, and track progress to maximize efficiency
- uphold all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
- provide operational support to the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef, contributing to training, menu execution, and continuous improvement initiatives
