Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a non-fast food restaurant or culinary school training
- ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work late nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform with minimum supervision
- Protective clothing required including slip resistant shoes
- U.S. work authorization required

- Ability to wear protective clothing including slip resistant shoes
Job Duties
- Report to work on time according to posted schedule in specified uniform
- Open and close the kitchen properly following opening and closing checklists
- Assist others in closing the kitchen and confirm all station duties are completed with MOD
- Measure and mix ingredients accurately and review recipe modifications with Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager
- Test food by taste testing and taking temperatures using ServSafe procedures
- Perform food preparation and cooking skills including washing, peeling, cutting, grilling, baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, carving and portioning foods
- Monitor food quantities, quality and display during preparation
- Stock work-station appropriately for each shift
- Develop knowledge of restaurant menu including ingredients and preparation
- Date and rotate food containers, maintaining proper temperature for perishables
- Clean work space after each shift including sanitizing station
- Respect coworkers and managers
- Maintain positive attitude and contribute to a fun work environment
- Promote a positive perception of the company internally and publicly
- Perform other duties as assigned
