Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role preferred
- ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- willingness to cover shifts as needed
- strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- ability to remain calm under pressure
- high school diploma or equivalent
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Line Cook or Lead Line Cook
- strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations
- leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage team members
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- strong problem-solving and judgment capabilities
- good listening skills with high attention to detail
- capability to maintain confidentiality
- experience handling administrative tasks including payroll, time management, and training
Job Duties
- Work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to oversee and supervise kitchen staff
- assist with inventory management, ordering, and supplier relationships
- ensure food quality and kitchen hygiene standards are maintained
- serve as Manager on Duty when the Food & Beverage Manager is absent
- supervise culinary team to keep workstations clean and compliant with food safety standards
- monitor and maintain kitchen equipment and arrange for repairs and servicing
- perform additional responsibilities as directed by management
