Job Requirements
- Must be able to traverse multiple areas of the building, including frequently moving between floors
- Continuously reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, stooping, and wiping
- Remaining stationary for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree preferred
- ServSafe certification highly desired
- 2 years of experience as a lead cook for high-volume catering highly desired
- knowledge in catering production and service
- knowledge in supervising kitchen production
- general knowledge in buffet setups and executing attended stations
- general knowledge in preparing diverse and ever-changing menu items
- high competency in maintaining kitchen safety and sanitation
- intermediate knife and culinary skills
- ability to work respectfully and efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced, and quality-driven environment
- knowledge of and adherence to Fox Theatre, local and state safety and sanitation policies and procedures for culinary operation
- ability to maintain kitchen equipment and cleaning schedules
- professionalism in working carving stations, action stations, and attended stations
- maintenance of high standards of personal hygiene
Job Duties
- Assist in executing all culinary requirements for the Marquee Club, specialty Concession offerings, and in-house events and meetings
- Follow the production schedule and supervise kitchen production in the absence of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef
- Assist in the completion of the regular inventory of products
- Assist in the completion of daily production updates
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols when handling, storing, prepping, cooking, and serving all food items
- Other duties as directed
